Conversations FAQs

Yes, while creating an email-style conversation, you have the option to drag and drop or upload .eml or .msg files.  

A helpful feature of the email popup is the Select from template button, which allows you to choose from predefined email formats and content structures. This enables you to quickly create professional-looking emails without having to start from scratch, saving you time and ensuring consistency. 

Public means anyone in your organization can see the Conversation and its details, and Members only means only the people included in the Conversation will be able to see the record.  

When entering contact information for an email in Conversations, the available contacts are automatically imported from your organization's Contacts app. 

Appward makes it easy to host video calls with your team within the Conversations app. Video calls utilize the microphone and camera of your choice and offer features similar to other video messaging apps, including live messaging/chat, recording, snapshots, and more. Conversations are integrated across multiple apps within Appward, not just the Conversations app.

In any app featuring a Conversations tab, the functionality closely mirrors that of the Conversations app. You can view all conversations sorted by the most recent activity and access the same detailed information you would typically see in the Conversations app. 

When sending an email through Appward, you’ll need to authenticate yourself as the person with access to the Sender email. This means providing the correct password for that email account. Depending on your email service (Gmail, Outlook, etc.), a verification popup will appear after clicking Submit & send email

Email – Manage and send emails from any of your mailboxes directly within the Appward interface.

Video Call – Host video chats with organization members and maintain a complete record of the discussions.

Phone Call – Make phone calls to customers, vendors, partners, and more while recording and keeping detailed logs of each call.

Meet Up – Track in-person discussions, making it perfect for important interactions, presentations, and networking opportunities. 

Yes, you can send emails directly within the Appward interface. Thanks to our API integrations with Gmail, Outlook, and other email services, you can manage your emails seamlessly without leaving the platform.
